Staff Signatures

These signatures must be used by all IVAO staff members at all levels from divisional staff through to the Executive Council and Board of Governors.

Please remember that NPO membership is not a network staff position and should not be included in signatures used on the network or the forum.

Content Definition

The rules for defining the content of the signature elements are as follows:

Name Members full name.
Position Full staff title (no numbers) - if your staff position is in a division then you must identify the division by adding a hyphen and the name of the division - multiple staff positions should be on separate lines.
Representing International Virtual Aviation Organisation (VZW should be appended for official NPO correspondence but never for network staff positions).
Links http://ivao.aero is to be used for senior staff positions - division web address is to be used for divisional positions - multiple links should be on the same line and seperated by a "vertial bar".

email clients

Here is a sample snippet of code that can be modified to create a staff email signature:

forum

Staff forum signatures are automatically generated from a script developed by the Web team. The script identifies staff positions and correctly formats them to comply with the branding document,

Non staff members are requested not to format their signatures in the same style and appearance as the staff signatures as this can be misleading for members when looking at forum posts.
